The World Heritage Sites in New Zealand

Tongariro National Park
 It is the first national park in New Zealand, and it is famous for three volcanos;Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe,and Tongariro. In 1887, the leader of the Maori contributed their land to New Zealand to protect the land of the Maori. People enjoy skiing down a hill, hiking to the volcanic crater, and so on there. The most popular activity is Tongagiro Alpine Crossing. This is a trekking tour seeing craters, lava, and another beautiful scenery. This experience will make you very excited.

New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands
 It consists of 5 islands. It is not famous because it is in the strict situation that it is always under unstable weather. Therefore people can’t go there easily. However, there are rare animals in the islands like albatross, yellow eyed penguin, and so on. There are 126 species of birds there, but 5 species of them exist in only those islands. To visit to these islands means not only to be able to get precious experience, but also that we have to behave with responsibility not to have any effect on them. In fact, the number of people who can visit there of a tour is restricted.
